Difficulty concentrating has several possible causes and does not automatically mean ADHD. Diagnosis requires assessment of symptoms, their impact and when they began.

## نقص الانتباه: التشخيص والدعم والعلاج

## Attention difficulties: assessment, support and treatment

Difficulty concentrating has several possible causes and does not automatically mean ADHD. Diagnosis requires assessment of symptoms, their impact and when they began.

Care considers a child's or adult's needs at home, school or work. Plans may include adjustments, behavioural or educational support, and medicines when a specialist considers them appropriate.

An online test alone does not establish ADHD, and medicines require follow-up. Ask for practical goals that can be reviewed rather than relying only on a questionnaire score.
