Dr. Altarawneh is a board-certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, holding the Jordanian Board in OMFS (2017) and a BDS from the University of Jordan (2005). He is registered with the Jordanian Dental Association under licence no. 5365.
Since 2006 he has owned and directed Dr. Tarawneh Dental & Facial Clinics in Amman, building a clinical base of more than 5,000 active patients. His surgical practice encompasses oral and maxillofacial surgery, impacted and complex dental extractions, bone grafting and sinus elevation, immediate and advanced implant placement, and full-arch oral rehabilitation.
In non-surgical facial aesthetics, he provides botulinum toxin (Botox) treatment for dynamic rhytids and facial symmetry refinement, dermal filler injection for contouring, volume restoration, and enhancement of the lips, chin and jawline, together with PDO thread lifting for tissue elevation and tightening.
His earlier clinical appointments include the Royal Medical Services, Marka Hospital (2015–2017), and the Ministry of Health, Al-Basheer Hospital (2012–2015).
He is a certified International Trainer in dental implantology (BioHorizons, 2017), and holds certifications in PDO Threads (Swiss 4 Med) and Cytosial Dermal Fillers Train-the-Trainers (Bioxis Pharma, 2021).
He has delivered more than 40 international teaching and training programmes in implantology and facial aesthetics across Jordan, the UAE, Egypt, Iraq, Lebanon, Germany, Italy, France, Portugal, Sweden and the United States.
He serves as a Committee Member of the Non-Surgical Aesthetic Medicine Commission at Jordan's Ministry of Health, and is former General Secretary of the Jordanian Dental Implant Commission (2013–2019).
