- يُمنع مع حساسية السيفالوسبورينات الموثقة. من لديهم حساسية بنسلين شديدة سابقة (صدمة تحسسية): يُقيّم الطبيب بدائل أخرى — التحسس المتصالب وارد وإن كان قليلاً مع الأجيال الحديثة. تعديل جرعة بالقصور الكلوي الملحوظ.
