How to book
- 1. Pick a doctor below: each profile shows the declared evening shift.
- 2. Call before you go — hours change on holidays and some clinics work by appointment only.
- 3. For severe or sudden symptoms do not wait for a clinic: call 911.
Seeing a dentist in the evening
Many employees, students and parents need a dentist who works in the evening or on Friday, the main weekly day off in Jordan, so they do not have to miss work or school. This page relies on the working hours each dentist declares, which can change on holidays and special occasions, so call the clinic to confirm before you go.
Fine for an evening or Friday visit
- A bearable toothache that eases with your usual pain relief and comes without facial swelling or fever.
- A lost filling or a partly chipped tooth without severe pain or ongoing bleeding.
- Bleeding gums when brushing, bad breath, or a routine cleaning and check-up.
- Follow-up for root canal treatment or braces, or adjusting a denture or brace wire that rubs the gum.
Go to the emergency department instead
- Facial swelling that spreads toward the eye or neck, or trouble swallowing or breathing: call 911 immediately.
- Bleeding after a tooth extraction that does not stop despite steady pressure on a clean gauze pad.
- High fever with a painful, swollen jaw and feeling very unwell overall.
- A hard blow to the face or jaw, or a permanent tooth knocked out completely: seek care at once instead of waiting.
Tips
- Call before going to confirm the shift, since some clinics open on Friday only after the Friday prayer.
- Bring previous X-rays and a list of your medicines, and tell the dentist if you take blood thinners.
- Ask whether the evening shift is by appointment only or accepts walk-ins, as treatment sessions take time.
General information only; it does not replace a medical consultation.
