Tap “Use my location”, or choose your governorate or district if you prefer not to share it. Distances are measured from that point.
2. Narrow the list
Keep only doctors available now or female doctors, and open a profile for qualifications, clinic address and accepted insurance.
3. Call, message or get directions
Every card shows the distance, and the profile has the contact options and a directions link to the clinic.
Before you choose a dentist
A dentist looks after your teeth, gums and jaws, from toothache, fillings, root canal treatment and extractions to routine cleaning, braces and implants. Tooth pain can flare up suddenly and many treatments need several visits in a row, so a dental clinic close to home saves time and makes it easier to finish your treatment. A nearby clinic also makes regular check-ups for children far less of a trip.
Whether you searched for “dentist nearby”, “dental clinic close to me”, “emergency dentist near me” or “dentist near me”, this page lists the published profiles in Jordan and sorts them by distance from you.
When to see a dentist
A throbbing or constant toothache, pain that wakes you at night, or sharp sensitivity to cold, heat or sweets.
Swelling of the gum or cheek, or an abscess, even if the pain has eased, since it may signal an infection.
A chipped or cracked tooth, or a lost filling or crown, to protect the tooth before the damage gets worse.
Gums that bleed when brushing or look red and swollen, persistent bad breath, or pain behind your last molar from a wisdom tooth.
A routine check-up and scale-and-polish, or a consultation about braces, implants or replacing a missing tooth.
What to bring to your visit
A list of your medicines and conditions, especially blood thinners, diabetes and osteoporosis medicines, and tell the dentist if you are pregnant.
Any previous dental X-rays or panoramic scans, plus a treatment plan from another dentist if you have one.
Your insurance card, after asking which procedures your policy covers, as some plans exclude cosmetic work or braces.
Tell the clinic in advance if the patient is a child or anxious about dental work, and write down questions about sessions and alternatives.
When to go to the emergency department instead
Facial or jaw swelling spreading towards the eye or neck with fever, or trouble swallowing or breathing: call 911 or go to emergency.
A hard blow to the face or jaw with severe pain, teeth that no longer meet properly, or fainting needs emergency assessment first.
A knocked-out adult tooth: hold it by the crown not the root, place it in milk, and see a dentist or emergency department immediately.
Bleeding from the mouth or after an extraction that will not stop with firm pressure on clean gauze, especially if you take blood thinners.
General information only; it does not replace a medical consultation.
Frequently asked questions
How do I find a dentist near me?
Tap “Use my location” at the top of this page and allow location access: the dentists are re-sorted by distance from you, with the distance on every card. If you prefer not to share your location, pick your governorate or district instead.
Does ClinicsJo keep my location?
Your approximate location (rounded to about 100 metres) is only used to calculate distances for this search. It is not linked to an account and it is never added to the page address, so a shared link does not reveal where you are.
Where are dentists listed in Jordan?
ClinicsJo lists 505 dentists in 12 governorates. Most are in Amman (318), Aqaba (41), Karak (35), Mafraq (16). Each governorate link below opens the full local list.
What if there is no dentist close to me?
The search widens step by step (5, 10, 25, 50, 100 then 200 km) until it finds listings, and tells you how far it went. You can also pick a neighbouring governorate from the list.
Can I see who is available now?
Turn on “Available now” to keep doctors whose declared working hours include the current time in Amman. Hours are declared by each clinic, so call before you go.
When should my child first see a dentist?
The first visit is usually recommended when the first tooth appears, or by the first birthday. It is a short, gentle visit where the dentist checks the mouth and shows parents how to clean the teeth and prevent decay. Early visits help children get used to the clinic and feel less anxious later.
How often should I see a dentist for a check-up and cleaning?
Many dentists suggest a check-up and cleaning about every 6 months, although your dentist may advise a shorter or longer interval depending on your gums and risk of decay. Regular visits catch decay and gum problems early, when treatment is simpler.
