Which vaccines should I discuss with my clinician during pregnancy?
Vaccines are reviewed according to gestational age, vaccination history, season, risk and local recommendations. Discuss non-live influenza and pertussis vaccination, COVID-19 vaccination and RSV prevention where appropriate. Overseas schedules and product eligibility should not automatically be applied in Jordan.

Examples from current guidance
The 2026 American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists schedule recommends Tdap during each pregnancy at 27 to 36 weeks, and non-live influenza and COVID-19 vaccination during pregnancy. These are US recommendations; your clinician should review local products and implementation.
Protecting the infant against RSV
Options depend on season, previous vaccination and availability of maternal vaccination or infant antibodies. A US programme’s months or eligibility window should not be transferred automatically to Jordan without checking local guidance.
Prepare for the discussion
Bring vaccination records, allergy history and travel plans. Live vaccines such as MMR and varicella are generally avoided during pregnancy and discussed before or afterwards. Do not postpone every vaccine or receive a product without checking its suitability for your situation.
