How to find a neurologist near you
1. Share your location or pick your area
Tap “Use my location”, or choose your governorate or district if you prefer not to share it. Distances are measured from that point.
2. Narrow the list
Keep only doctors available now or female doctors, and open a profile for qualifications, clinic address and accepted insurance.
3. Call, message or get directions
Every card shows the distance, and the profile has the contact options and a directions link to the clinic.
Before you choose a neurologist
A neurologist diagnoses and treats conditions of the brain, spinal cord, nerves and muscles, such as migraine, epilepsy, the effects of stroke, numbness, limb weakness and Parkinson disease. These conditions are often long-term and need regular reviews to adjust treatment, so a nearby clinic makes follow-up easier.
Whether you searched for “nerve doctor near me”, “neurology doctor nearby”, “brain and nerve specialist near me” or “neurologist near me”, this page lists the published profiles in Jordan and sorts them by distance from you.
When to see a neurologist
- Frequent or severe headaches that disrupt your day, change pattern, or do not respond to usual painkillers.
- Persistent numbness, tingling or pins and needles in the hands or feet, or gradual muscle weakness.
- Fainting spells, seizures or unexplained blank episodes, even if they stopped on their own.
- A tremor in the hands, slowed movement, or problems with balance and walking.
- Memory problems that are getting worse and affecting daily life, or follow-up after a stroke.
What to bring to your visit
- Reports and images from previous brain MRI or CT scans, and any earlier EEG or nerve tests.
- A diary of seizures or headaches showing when they happen, how long they last, and what triggers or eases them.
- A list of your medicines and doses, and do not stop epilepsy or other medicines before the visit unless your doctor advises.
- A companion who has witnessed the episodes or noticed memory changes, plus your insurance card.
When to go to the emergency department instead
- A drooping face, weakness in an arm, or slurred speech: call 911 immediately and note the time symptoms started.
- A sudden, extremely severe headache that peaks within seconds or minutes, or feels like the worst of your life.
- A seizure lasting more than 5 minutes, repeated seizures without waking in between, or a first-ever seizure.
- Headache with fever, a stiff neck or confusion, or weakness in the legs that is spreading quickly.
