Tap “Use my location”, or choose your governorate or district if you prefer not to share it. Distances are measured from that point.
2. Narrow the list
Keep only doctors available now or female doctors, and open a profile for qualifications, clinic address and accepted insurance.
3. Call, message or get directions
Every card shows the distance, and the profile has the contact options and a directions link to the clinic.
Before you choose a pediatrician
A pediatrician looks after children from birth through the teenage years, from growth checks and vaccinations to fevers, chest infections, diarrhea and feeding problems. Having a pediatric clinic close to home matters, because children can get worse quickly and check-ups and vaccinations come often in the early years.
Whether you searched for “kids doctor near me”, “pediatrician nearby”, “female pediatrician near me” or “pediatrician near me”, this page lists the published profiles in Jordan and sorts them by distance from you.
When to see a pediatrician
A fever lasting more than two or three days, returning after it settled, or with drowsiness and poor feeding.
A cough, runny nose or earache that is not improving, or wheezing that comes back with every cold.
Diarrhea or vomiting that leaves your child struggling to keep fluids down, before signs of dehydration appear.
Routine growth checks and vaccinations, and follow-up of weight, height, feeding and sleep.
Delays in speech or walking compared with other children, a rash, or any change in behavior that worries you.
What to bring to your visit
The vaccination card or child health booklet, along with any previous reports or test results.
A record of temperature readings and times, plus how much your child has fed, drunk and urinated.
The names of any medicines or fever reducers you have given, and the time of the last dose.
Your insurance card, spare diapers and clothes, and a familiar toy to keep your child calm while waiting.
When to go to the emergency department instead
Difficulty breathing, blue lips, a seizure, or a child who is very hard to wake: call 911 immediately.
Any fever in a baby younger than 3 months needs urgent assessment in an emergency department.
Signs of dehydration such as very few wet diapers, a dry mouth, crying without tears, or unusual drowsiness.
A rash that does not fade when pressed together with fever, or swallowing medicine, chemicals or a button battery.
General information only; it does not replace a medical consultation.
Frequently asked questions
How do I find a pediatrician near me?
Tap “Use my location” at the top of this page and allow location access: the pediatricians are re-sorted by distance from you, with the distance on every card. If you prefer not to share your location, pick your governorate or district instead.
Does ClinicsJo keep my location?
Your approximate location (rounded to about 100 metres) is only used to calculate distances for this search. It is not linked to an account and it is never added to the page address, so a shared link does not reveal where you are.
Where are pediatricians listed in Jordan?
ClinicsJo lists 72 pediatricians in 12 governorates. Most are in Amman (45), Karak (7), Madaba (5), Zarqa (3). Each governorate link below opens the full local list.
What if there is no pediatrician close to me?
The search widens step by step (5, 10, 25, 50, 100 then 200 km) until it finds listings, and tells you how far it went. You can also pick a neighbouring governorate from the list.
Can I see who is available now?
Turn on “Available now” to keep doctors whose declared working hours include the current time in Amman. Hours are declared by each clinic, so call before you go.
How often should a healthy child see a pediatrician?
Check-ups are most frequent in the first year, timed with growth checks and vaccinations, and become less frequent as your child grows. Your pediatrician will set the schedule and use these visits to follow weight, height and development and answer questions about feeding and sleep.
When should I take my child to a pediatrician for a fever?
See a doctor if the fever lasts more than two or three days, if your child is drowsy or refusing to drink, or if other symptoms worry you. Any fever in a baby under 3 months needs urgent assessment. Do not give medicines without advice, and follow the weight-based dose set by a doctor or pharmacist.
