How to find an OB-GYN near you
1. Share your location or pick your area
Tap “Use my location”, or choose your governorate or district if you prefer not to share it. Distances are measured from that point.
2. Narrow the list
Keep only doctors available now or female doctors, and open a profile for qualifications, clinic address and accepted insurance.
3. Call, message or get directions
Every card shows the distance, and the profile has the contact options and a directions link to the clinic.
Before you choose an OB-GYN
An OB-GYN looks after women at every stage of life, from periods, menstrual problems and gynecological infections to pregnancy, childbirth, family planning and menopause. Pregnancy care means regular visits that become more frequent as the due date nears, so a nearby clinic cuts travel and helps you get seen quickly when needed.
Whether you searched for “gynecologist near me”, “female gynecologist near me”, “obstetrician near me” or “ob-gyn near me”, this page lists the published profiles in Jordan and sorts them by distance from you.
When to see an OB-GYN
- Irregular periods, heavy or painful bleeding, or bleeding between periods or after intercourse.
- Unusual discharge, itching or burning, or recurring pain in the lower abdomen or pelvis.
- Planning a pregnancy or having trouble conceiving, or starting pregnancy care after a positive test.
- A routine check-up including a cervical smear, or advice on contraception and family planning.
- Troublesome menopause symptoms, or any vaginal bleeding after periods have stopped for good.
What to bring to your visit
- The date of the first day of your last period and how regular your cycles have been recently.
- Previous test results and ultrasound reports, and your pregnancy follow-up file if you are pregnant.
- A list of the medicines and supplements you take, and details of any previous surgery or births.
- Your insurance card, written questions, and a companion if having someone with you feels more comfortable.
When to go to the emergency department instead
- Heavy vaginal bleeding in pregnancy, or severe abdominal pain with dizziness or fainting: call 911 or go to the emergency department now.
- Fluid leaking from the vagina before your due date, or regular contractions before 37 weeks of pregnancy.
- Noticeably fewer movements from the baby in late pregnancy, which needs checking the same day rather than waiting.
- A severe headache with blurred vision, or sudden swelling of the face and hands during pregnancy.
