How we chose this list
Every matching doctor profile in this country was scored out of 100 for how complete and checkable its published information is, and the highest scores appear here in order. Featured placement does not change a profile's score, and the score does not measure treatment quality or outcomes — it tells you how much you can check before you call.

When do you need laser skin resurfacing and rejuvenation?
Laser resurfacing uses light energy absorbed by water in the skin. Ablative lasers remove very thin surface layers. Non-ablative lasers heat the deeper skin while leaving the surface intact. Both are often used in a fractional pattern: the laser treats microscopic columns and leaves untreated skin in between, which helps healing. The improvement comes from new collagen and skin remodelling over the following weeks. It is not instant.
People usually ask about it for:
- Acne scars and some other scars
- Fine lines and rough or uneven texture
- Sun damage and some types of uneven pigmentation
- Enlarged-looking pores and dull skin tone
Ablative treatment tends to give a more visible change. In exchange, recovery is longer and redness can last weeks. Non-ablative treatment gives gradual change with shorter downtime but needs more sessions. A session usually takes 20 to 60 minutes depending on the area. Non-ablative sessions are often repeated every 3 to 6 weeks. Ablative treatment usually means fewer sessions and a longer recovery.
A dermatology consultation matters before any laser. Some pigment problems, such as melasma, can flare after heat-based treatment. Medium and darker skin tones carry a higher risk of temporary or lasting dark or light patches if settings are not adjusted. See a dermatologist promptly, before any cosmetic treatment, if you have a mole or spot that is new, changing, bleeding or itching. A laser should not be used on a lesion that has not been diagnosed.
Warning signs after a session
Redness, swelling and a sunburn-like feeling are expected for a while. Contact the treating clinic the same day if you notice:
- Pain that is getting worse instead of easing
- Yellow crusting, pus, spreading redness or warmth, or a fever
- Blisters or clusters of small sores, especially around the lips
- Open areas that are not healing, or new dark or white patches
Call 911 for swelling of the face, lips or throat, difficulty breathing, or any injury to the eye.
How to choose among the doctors here
All seven profiles publish laser or fractional skin resurfacing. People searching for the best laser skin resurfacing and rejuvenation doctors in Jordan often want a single answer. Your most useful choice depends on your concern, your skin type and practical fit. Consider:
- Your main concern. Read the published services. Some profiles name acne scar management, scar treatment, pigmentation, or laser care for redness and rosacea. If your concern appears in a doctor's own record, it is a reasonable starting point for a consultation.
- Medical dermatology alongside cosmetic care. If you also have moles to check, eczema, psoriasis, vitiligo or active acne, a doctor whose profile covers those conditions can assess them during the same visit.
- Published qualifications. Each entry shows the boards and degrees the doctor lists. Ask who performs the laser session itself and who reviews you afterwards.
- Skin type. Ask how the doctor adjusts the laser type and intensity for your skin tone, and whether a test spot is advised.
- Repeat visits. Treatment often involves several sessions weeks apart. Check the confirmed hours, including shorter Thursday hours at some clinics, against your work schedule.
- Shared clinics. Two of the listed doctors work at the same centre. Ask which doctor will follow your course of treatment.
What to expect at the first visit
The first appointment is usually a consultation and skin-type assessment, not always a treatment. The usual stages are: consultation and assessment, skin preparation, topical numbing cream and cooling, the session itself, then healing, review and planning any further sessions.
Before the visit
- Avoid tanning and strong sun exposure in the weeks beforehand. Ask the clinic whether to pause retinoids or exfoliating products.
- Note any history of cold sores. Laser can trigger an outbreak, and the doctor may want to discuss prevention.
- List all medicines and supplements. Tell the doctor about any recent isotretinoin (acne tablets), blood thinners or medicines that make you sensitive to light.
- Mention pregnancy or breastfeeding, a tendency to keloid or raised scars, and previous peels, lasers, fillers or surgery on the area.
What to bring
- Your ID and insurance card if you have one
- Your medicine list and any previous dermatology reports
- Photos of how your skin looked at different times, if pigmentation comes and goes
Questions to ask
- Is an ablative, non-ablative or fractional approach planned, and why?
- How many sessions are likely, and how far apart?
- How long will redness or peeling last, and when can I return to work?
- What aftercare and sun protection do I need?
- What should I do if I notice a problem?
During a session you will wear eye protection. The skin is numbed and cooled, and many people describe a hot, prickling sensation.
Insurance, fees and booking: what to ask before the appointment
Many insurance policies exclude cosmetic procedures. Laser resurfacing for appearance may not be covered even when a consultation for a medical skin condition is. Ask your insurer directly, and ask the clinic whether it deals with your insurer.
Before booking, ask:
- The consultation fee, and whether it is deducted if you go ahead with treatment
- The price per session and whether multi-session packages exist
- Whether follow-up reviews are included
- Whether numbing cream or aftercare products are charged separately
- The cancellation and rescheduling policy
- Whether you will be treated on the day of the consultation or on a later date
Ask for the plan and costs in writing so you can compare clinics fairly.
Getting there
This is a kingdom-wide list, and each profile states its own city and district. Check the map pin on the profile before your first visit. Allow for traffic at peak hours, especially if you book a late-afternoon slot after work.
Because treated skin is sensitive to sun and heat, plan the trip home. Bring a wide-brimmed hat and sunscreen recommended by the clinic. After a stronger treatment, book a time when you can go straight home rather than running errands. If you need several sessions, a clinic that is easy to reach makes it simpler to keep to the schedule.
Checklist before you book
- Have a dermatologist check any new or changing moles first
- Confirm that laser or fractional resurfacing appears in the doctor's published services
- Ask which laser family is planned and how it suits your skin tone
- Share your medicine list, cold-sore history, pregnancy status and scar tendency
- Ask about the number of sessions, the interval between them and the expected downtime
- Get the consultation and session fees and the package terms in writing
- Check insurance cover for cosmetic treatment with your insurer
- Match the clinic's confirmed hours to your schedule for repeat visits
- Stop tanning, and plan sun protection before and after treatment
- Know the warning signs, how to reach the clinic, and when to call 911
