Before you choose an implant dentist
A dental implant replaces a missing tooth with a small titanium or zirconia post fixed into the jawbone, which then supports a crown, bridge or denture once it has bonded with the bone. Treatment usually runs in stages over several months, from a gum and bone assessment with a 3D scan, through placing the implant and letting it heal, to fitting the final tooth, so a clinic close to home makes every visit and review easier to keep.
Whether you searched for “dental implants near me”, “implant dentist near me”, “tooth implant clinic nearby” or “dental implant dentist near me”, this page lists the published profiles in Jordan and sorts them by distance from you.
When to see an implant dentist
You have lost one or more teeth and want a fixed replacement rather than a removable denture or a bridge that needs the neighbouring teeth trimmed.
Your dentist says a tooth cannot be saved, because of a cracked root, extensive decay or a failed root canal, and you want to plan its replacement before or right after the extraction.
A lower denture that moves when you eat or speak, since it can be secured on two or more implants instead of resting on the gums alone.
Bleeding, swelling or pus around an existing implant, or a crown on it that feels loose, as inflammation around an implant needs early treatment.
A long time has passed since an extraction and the neighbouring teeth are tilting into the gap or the gum has sunk there, because bone shrinks over time and may need grafting before an implant.
What to bring to your visit
Tell the dentist about your conditions and medicines, especially diabetes and your latest HbA1c result, osteoporosis medicines, blood thinners, and any past radiotherapy to the head or neck.
Bring previous X-rays, such as a panoramic or a 3D (CBCT) scan of the jaw, and any card or report naming the type of an earlier implant.
If you smoke, say so and ask about stopping before and after surgery, as smoking slows healing and raises the risk of implant failure.
Write down questions about the number of stages, how long each takes and whether you will have a temporary tooth, and ask for a written plan showing the stages, their cost and what your insurance covers.
When to go to the emergency department instead
Difficulty breathing or swallowing, or swelling spreading under the jaw or towards the eye with fever after implant surgery: call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
Bleeding from the implant site that fills the mouth, or continues after 30 minutes of firm, steady biting on clean gauze, needs urgent assessment in an emergency department.
Numbness of the lip, chin or tongue that lasts hours after the anaesthetic should have worn off: call the dentist who did the surgery the same day, as early assessment of a nerve injury matters.
Fever and chills, or pain and swelling that get worse after the third day instead of settling: contact the dentist straight away, and go to emergency if you cannot reach them.
General information only; it does not replace a medical consultation.
Frequently asked questions
How do I find an implant dentist near me?
Tap “Use my location” at the top of this page and allow location access: the implant dentists are re-sorted by distance from you, with the distance on every card. If you prefer not to share your location, pick your governorate or district instead.
Does ClinicsJo keep my location?
Your approximate location (rounded to about 100 metres) is only used to calculate distances for this search. It is not linked to an account and it is never added to the page address, so a shared link does not reveal where you are.
Where are implant dentists listed in Jordan?
ClinicsJo lists 27 implant dentists in 4 governorates. Most are in Aqaba (13), Amman (12), Irbid (1), Zarqa (1). Each governorate link below opens the full local list.
What if there is no implant dentist close to me?
The search widens step by step (5, 10, 25, 50, 100 then 200 km) until it finds listings, and tells you how far it went. You can also pick a neighbouring governorate from the list.
Can I see who is available now?
Turn on “Available now” to keep doctors whose declared working hours include the current time in Amman. Hours are declared by each clinic, so call before you go.
Can anyone have dental implants?
Implants suit most adults whose jaw has finished growing and whose gums are healthy, provided there is enough bone to hold the implant or it can be rebuilt with a bone graft or, in the upper jaw, a sinus lift. Uncontrolled diabetes, smoking, some osteoporosis medicines and radiotherapy to the head and neck can delay implants or change the plan. The dentist decides whether implants suit you after an examination, a 3D scan and a review of your health history.
Are all the dentists in this list implant specialists?
The list shows dentists who have added implants to the services on their profile. Implants are placed by dentists who have completed additional implant training, as well as by specialists in oral surgery, gum disease (periodontics) or prosthodontics. Ask the dentist about their implant training and experience, and how many cases like yours they have treated.
